Elle a été créée conformément à la loi 151/1998 par la décision n° 4/16.12.1998 du Conseil de développement régional (CDR) de la région de développement du Nord-Ouest, en tant qu'organisme d'utilité publique, doté de la personnalité juridique, agissant dans des domaines spécifiques du développement régional.
L'ARD du Nord-Ouest est l'organe exécutif du Conseil de développement régional de la région de développement du Nord-Ouest.

Objectifs de la structure
The Northwest Regional Development Agency (ADR) was established in accordance with Law 151/1998 by decision no. 4/ 16.12.1998 of the Council for Regional Development (CDR) of the North-West Development Region, as a body of public utility, with legal personality, acting in areas specific to regional development.
INNO is a department within the North-West Regional Development Agency. Founded in 2019, INNO’s mission is to contribute to the regional development of the North-West region of Romania through offering reliable, high-quality and free of charge support services for potential investors and for the regional innovators and entrepreneurs.
The INNO Platform offers a variety of tools meant to encourage research and tech transfer such as RIEP (Regional Innovation and Entrepreneurship Portfolio), Open Innovation Challenges, and a lengthy database of resources in the Knowledge Hub section.
INNO is the primary liaison for businesses that want to invest in the North-West region of Romania. We offer support services from A to Z to investors to make the transition to the Romanian market as smooth as possible.
